Yes, it is time once again for the AGC Spring Sports Train and if you weren’t on the train last year, you’ll want to make sure you aren’t left behind when it pulls out of the station this year. All members, prospects, and guests are welcome! Join us on April 28th for the 5 hour train ride heading north toward Talkeetna. (With all the snow, the AKRR is concerned about avalanches so we aren’t able to go south again this year.) Train departs at 12:00 noon so please arrive at the station by 11:00 am.
The cost is only $75 per person and includes rail ticket, food, and beverages (Must be 21 and bring photo ID). Dress in your favorite sport’s costume and come enjoy the view, and network before the busy summer season starts. There will be opportunities to meet local sports stars and bid on silent auction gift baskets full of goodies. For more information or to purchase your tickets (members may be invoiced) contact Kimberley at Kimberley@agcak.org or Mandy at mandy@agcak.org or click here to download the registration and sponsorship form.
The Associates Council encourages you to put together a “Gift Basket” for the Silent Auction. A portion of the proceeds from the sales of the baskets will go to the new AGC of Alaska program, "Operation Opening Doors" honoring wounded soldiers. Please call the AGC office at 907-561-5354 to have your basket picked up by an Associates Council member.
SPONSORSHIP: We are looking for 2-3 Car sponsors (Single Car Sponsorship starts at $1500 per car and includes 2 train tickets & ½ sponsorship is $500 and 1 train ticket.) You are welcome to decorate the train with your company logo and give-a-ways. For more information, please contact Kimberley or Judy at AGC.
TAXI SERVICE: We are offering Taxi Service to and from the train on April 28th. If you’d like more information, please contact AGC.
