- Increase your leadership effectiveness by knowing how your brain works and learning to manage energy and tough emotions with Leslie Whatley. At any given moment, our state of mind is either above or below the line. This state of mind is most often unconscious to us. When we are above the line, we are connected to others, pursuing a bigger purpose and our aspirations. We are playing to win. As a result, we have stronger relationships, are more productive, and achieve greater success. When we are below the line, our brains are focused on surviving the real or perceived threats to our safety. We are reactive and playing not to lose. As a result, we are less productive and effective.
In this session we will deepen our understanding of our brains work and learn strategies to identify, access, and leverage energy and tough emotions -- so that your teams are productive, resilient, and innovative.
